教学设计）
一 、 学情分析
本单元教学重点是使学生能够阅读英语时间表，能够用正确的方式表述时间，能够用英语谈论不同时间的节目，同时通过模仿、辨别，进一步熟悉音标的正确发音。学生对英文数字反应比较迟钝，特别是听的时候对数字的输出问题比较大。因此在教学设计中，需要复习数字的有关知识，训练学生对数字的敏锐反应，帮助学生克服时间表达的困难。
本单元设计分为 4 个课时：
第一课时 Lead-in + Listening and Speaking（Dialogue A）
第二课时 Listening and Speaking（Dialogue B）
第三课时 Phonetics Review
第四课时 Unit Task

二 、 教材分析
1 1 ． 教学内容
本课时系教材《英语基础模块》（预备级 高教版）第四单元的第一课时，包括 Lead-in & Listening and Speaking（Dialogue A）两部分，具体内容为：各种时间表达方式，熟悉日常生活中常见的标有时间的场所，听懂并掌握询问和回答时间的方式。
2 2 ．教学重点、难点 ⑴教学重点 各种时间表达方式以及询问和回答时间的方式。
⑵教学难点 听懂并掌握询问和回答时间的方式。
三、教学目标
1. 知识目标 ⑴掌握时间相关的词汇，如 quarter, am, pm ⑵掌握时间的表达方式：
four o’clock, ten to eleven, a quarter past three, twelve eight, half past nine… (3) 询问和回答时间的方式如：
Excuse me. What time is it? It’s … Thank you. 2. 能力目标 ⑴学生能识别各种时间表达方式。
⑵学生能识别常见日常生活场所的开放的起止时间。
(3) 练习日常生活中询问和回答时间的方式。
3. 情感目标 了解日常生活中不同场合下的时间表达方式。
四 、教学步骤
Step One Lead-in （10m ）
1. Ask the students to count numbers 1-20 in English. Collect students’ answers on the blackboard. One two three four five six seven eight nine ten eleven twelve thirteen fourteen fifteen sixteen seventeen eighteen nineteen twenty 2. Ask the students to count numbers 10、20、30… 100 in English. ten twenty thirty forty fifty sixty seventy eighty ninety one hundred
（ 设计意图: : 通过竞赛的形式让学生进行数数比赛，既可以调动学生的学习兴趣，也可以复习数字的表达方式，为后面学习时间的表达方式奠定基础。）
3. Activity 1. Look and tick. Tick the correct pictures according to the given time. Write down more time expressions on the blackboard for the students to speak. Bring a clock and ask some student to show the time on the clock. Sample: 10:00 8:15 4:45 5:50 11:30 （设计意图: : 训练学生熟悉识别各种时间表达方式, , 要求学生利用时钟标出相应的时间 。）
Step Two Listening and speaking (25m) 1. Activity 2. Look and choose. Choose the possible time according to the pictures. Inspire the students to think out more places and tell their opening and closing time.
cinema、drugstore、school gate、coffee shop、bookstore… … （设计意图 : 让学生熟悉日常生活中常见的标有时间的场所，并识别该场所开放的起止时间。）
2. Activity 3. Listen and tick. Listen and tick the picture that shows the correct time. 3. Pair competition. One student asks the other student to write down the time that they hear and show the time on a clock. Then they exchange in pairs. Sample: 7:00 8:30 11:55 15:30 7:40 9:15… … （设计意图 : 让学生熟悉时间的表达方式，
并让学生在钟面上标示出来。）
4. And ask the students to practice the followings: -- Ex cuse me . What time is it? -- It’s …
-- Thank you! The students practice dialogue, using the pictures in Activity 3. 5. Tell the students the ways to express time:
一 整点的表达：
o’clock 前用数字或文字均可。文字更正式，数字更鲜明，如：
6 点------ 6 o’clock ------six o’clock
8 点------ 8 o’clock ------eight o’clock
二 非整点表达的两种方法：
时 + 分
6：30 = six thirty
7：45 = seven forty-five
8：01 = eight 0 one (0 读字母 o 音)
注意：用“时 + 分”的方式表示时间，后面决不可有 o’clock。
分 + past + 时：表示“几点几分”，不超过半小时 （ 包括半小时 half ）
分 + to + 时 ：表示超过半小时的 “几点差几分”
一刻（十五分）用 quarter
如：一点一刻：
a quarter past one
one fifteen
两点半：
half past two
two thirty
三点四十五分：
a quarter to four
three forty-five
七点二十：
twenty past seven
seven twenty
九点四十：
twenty to ten
nine forty
a.m. = in the morning
如：上午九点：
9 a.m.
9：00 a.m.
nine a.m.
p.m. = in the afternoon （设计意图: : 教会 学生 用不同的方式表达时间 。）
Step Three Summary and Production (9m) 1. Make a short summary of what we’ve learned today. (1)key vocabulary：quarter, am, pm (2)everyday English about time : -- Excuse me. What time is it? -- It’s … -- Thank you! (3)the way of express time.
a. six o’clock b. 分 + past + 时：表示“几点几分”，不超过半小时 （ 包括半小时 half ）
